Updates: Step by Step

September has been an awesome month as Fall begins to kick in, while I continue to gain flight hours. I've taken a few more lessons, and have enjoyed learning more about controlling the plane in the air. One of the Mission Aviation Program's highlights is actually a Bible study. We're enjoying an incredible study called "Experiencing God." Let me take a minute to share how God has been blessing me through this study.

A significant point I've God has shown me is that He leads people step by step, rather than offering a road map of all the steps He wants them to take. When we look at the story of Abraham, we often acknowledge that he had great faith to follow God without knowing where he was headed. But God wants to lead us the same way. When I began seeking God's will in my life, I expected Him to lay out a map of all the steps He wanted me to take. After studying how God led people in the Bible though, I've realized he leads us one step at a time to help build our faith and relationship with Him. Will you join me in committing to follow God's leading in your life step by step, and fully trust Him with your life?

A few exciting events are also coming up.

  1. This Sabbath, the Oklahoma Academy Mission Track will make our first church visit at Sandsprings SDA Church near Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Mission Track is a group of young people training to be missionaries in a variety of areas including aviation, music, digital media, and construction. If you're in the area, stop by and prepare to be encouraged by the testimonies of these young people with a vision to serve the Lord! If you think your church would be blessed by a presentation like this, don't hesitate to contact me or the school.

  1. The Mission Track will be attending a week-long training session with Adventist Frontier Missions in a few weeks. This is an amazing opportunity to prepare for mission service. Please pray for us as we attend this event.

Thanks for stopping by and being a part of this mission. Your prayers and support are making a difference. Four graduates from last school year are already serving around the world. Jesus is coming soon, and I'm so excited that we can partner together to share His love with others. Please continue to pray for me, the Mission Track students, and everyone at Oklahoma Academy as a whole.

With gratitude,

Micah
