Greetings from balmy Alaska! We are having an abnormally warm winter here with very little snow. In fact, many places in the lower 48 have received more snow than we have so far! Despite the lack of real winter weather, we have been able to continue sharing the gospel!
Several times this month we were able to make it out to Clark’s Point. It’s been really fun and everyone in the small village seems to enjoy having us come share some thoughts from the Bible. Most of the people who attend are younger so we like to try to play basketball and games. Unfortunately the few times we were able to go there this month, the weather was closing in so we’ve just had time for a short Bible study. Please continue to pray for our Bible study contacts in Clark’s Point!
Another interesting experience this month was with a friend. He is not a church member and struggles with drinking. One night he wasn’t doing well and called us. We were able to bring him over to our house and spend some time with him and help keep him from drinking even more. When he sobered up, he said he didn’t even remember calling us! We believe God put it on his heart to call us. A few weeks later he even came to church. Please continue to pray that he will give his heart to Christ!

I’ve helped a lot around here with in many random ways this month. I changed the oil on the conference vehicle and replaced some headlights and other parts for an older church member. It was a newer Subaru outback so I had to practically remove the entire bumper to get to the light bulbs! I also had the opportunity to counsel a church member. It was a totally new experience for me but God gave me the words to say! And thankfully that member is now attending church regularly and inviting friends, so it cool to see God use me to make a difference. I’m still teaching at the Dillingham SDA school. Teaching the kids is probably the brightest parts of my week. I remember teaching them the story about the flood and they still point to rainbows happily exclaiming how it is a promise from God. Last week, I helped change the oil on our plane. It is an older plane so it has an oil screen instead of an oil filter. It was a new experience but super fun!

Thanks again for all your prayers and support of me and this project! You are actively partnering with us to share the love of Christ in bush Alaska!
In service together,
Micah
